Haole Boy Kona Coffee

Haole Boy Kona Coffee is a family-run business on the Big Island of Hawaii consisting of Jim, Julie & James - “Triple J Farms”. We have been developing our farm for the last 13 years with lots of tender loving care. We are a total hands on operation starting with the care of the farm to the roasting of the beans. This is our every day job, but what a beautiful place to work each and every day.

We are located 7 miles above Kailua-Kona on the slopes of Mt. Hualalai in a small community called Holualoa. We live in the Hualalai Farms community which consists of 5 acre parcels farmed in coffee, macadamia nuts, cocoa and gardenia flowers.

When we first decided to become coffee farmers and pursue this whole adventure we knew that we wanted this to be different from other labels and fun. In Hawaii if you are not a local most mainlanders are considered to be a Haole (How-lee), so we invented the name Haole Boy Coffee. A wonderful local artist friend helped us come up with the perfect multi-colored label. We have been blessed to be able to live on the Big Island of Hawaii and be able to be a part of this whole coffee adventure. What a fun journey this has been.
